Great place with elevator and air conditioning in common area and fans for bedrooms. Very close to two metro lines and two grocery stores. Walkable to waterfront in about twenty minutes.

very nice apartment conveniently located walking distance to downtown and Alfama. the bakery across the street is super friendly. The neighborhood used to be a dangerous one but was cleaned up in 2011 and is safe now; only thing we found surprising is seeing only men on the street at night, I am told this is Bengali tradition.

The apartment was very nicely decorated & had all the essentials. The master bedroom is spacious, but the 2 other rooms are considered small, the twin room doesn’t have space to put luggage inside it. Also, mirrors were not available except in the master bedroom. The kitchen is good. Bathrooms are good and spacious. The building is secure with a pin you need to enter from outside to get in. There are restaurants right downstairs, including a halal Italian restaurant which was really good and convenient. Small grocery shops also available nearby.
This was a great location for us as we travelled with out 83 year old parents. The subway is 30 metres away.
I had such a lovely experience staying at Maria’s place. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and easy. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home
The team was very responsive and helpful, offering flexibility for us to drop off our bags in advance of check-in since we arrived on a red-eye flight. They offered local recommendations as well. The only constructive feedback we have is the shower water wasn’t super warm and the shower door didn’t seem to open properly / fully. Nothing that would stop us from staying there again though!

Excellent AIRBNB. Team organized transportation for us from the airport, very smooth and reasonable. I also had several questions about various things to do with Lisbon and received responses promptly with honest opinions. The services and restaurants around the apartment were fantastic. We felt very safe in this location. We would absolutely recommend this apartment to friends and family and would return on our next trip to Lisbon !
