At the same time, we believe in constant improvement. By embracing innovation and using smart technology, we aim to streamline our operations and deliver a hospitality experience that is both personal and efficient.
Hansi Home began at the end of 2017 with a simple but meaningful idea. Through two carefully renovated apartments in Lisbon’s historic center, we hoped to meet people from different parts of the world and share our hometown in a personal and thoughtful way. In a sense, it was our way of exploring the world by welcoming it into our own space.
The timing was right. Lisbon’s tourism was booming, and our approach quickly resonated with guests. Encouraged by their warm feedback and consistent performance, we gradually expanded by designing new spaces, improving operations, and forming partnerships with like-minded property owners.
It was a journey of discovery and the start of something much greater.
As the number of properties under our care expanded, so did our team. New members with strong backgrounds in hospitality joined us, bringing fresh energy, insight, and shared values. Together, we continued improving every detail of our service and guest experience.
Through teamwork and dedication, we not only navigated the challenges of the pandemic but also maintained and even increased the scale of our operations. This chapter strengthened our confidence, deepened our expertise, and reinforced our passion for the short-term rental industry.
Today, we manage over 45 thoughtfully designed apartments across Lisbon, along with two boutique countryside homes in the charming town of Sintra. Our multinational team combines local expertise, a shared love for hospitality, and genuine care for the people we host.
With fluency in six languages, a strong foundation in interior design, and a continued dedication to personalized service, we remain driven by a clear vision: to keep growing, to develop meaningful and inspiring projects, and to deepen our connection with the world through the homes we create.
